Celebrating 18 years of this gastronomic event, Obsession 18 saw 21 world class chefs with 16 Michelin stars cook at luxury boutique hotel, Northcote. The culinary occasion took place over 18 nights from 18th January to 4th February this year and welcomed chefs travelling from diverse countries including India, Russia, Japan, and Mexico, as well as the UK, cooking their unique Obsession Menus.

On Friday 26th January, our Head Chef George and his team made their debut at the event.

 
“It’s was an incredible privilege to be invited. All the Obsession’s I have seen in the past have been amazing, with so many chefs I have watched throughout my career. Huge thanks to Nigel (Haworth) and Craig (Bancroft) at Northcote for having such a lovely hotel and giving me such a warm welcome. The standout dish of the evening I think was the Smoked Salt Baked Celeriac, with High Weald cow’s curd, hazelnut and black truffle, it is very representational of what we do at Gravetye, using seasonal ingredients from the kitchen garden.”
